Inner Transition for Sustainable Living
Sunday, Aug. 29 9:30-6:00

International facilitators Natalie Zend and Kaia Nightingale lead a powerful day of experiential processes to explore the opportunities of this time, connect to our life purpose and become more aware of our unique roles and contributions in the coming times.

Making the Inner Transition for Sustainable Living

Are you deeply concerned about the state of our planet, but not sure how you can contribute to a future worth living? The overwhelming challenges of our time--climate change, peak oil, economic turmoil, to name just a few--can leave us feeling hopeless, helpless, furious, or just numb.

Find your way forward with this day of powerful experiential exercises based on the Work that Reconnects (www.joannamacy.com). Connect with like-minded people for company, collaboration and support. You will come away with a sense of the bigger picture, a context for hope, and more clarity about your unique role in creating a life-sustaining society.
Natalie Zend, MA, CTDP, is a training and facilitation consultant with 13 years' experience in international development and human rights policy and programming. She is an official facilitator of the Work that Reconnects and of the Awakening the Dreamer symposium (www.awakeningthedreamer.com).
Kaia Nightingale, MA, is a spiritual counselor and visionary who has taught meditation and yoga since 1986. Co-founder of Transition Ottawa, she has rolled up her sleeves and created personal alternatives for energy descent and food sustainability. She is author of Journey through Transformation, documentary Spiritual Emergency and CD Inner Quiet.

Incan Wisdom for 2012: The Return of the Light
with Peruvian Shaman Jorge Luis Delgado
Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, 9:30-5:00
Carp Ridge EcoWellness Centre (www.ecowellness.com)

According to Incan wisdom, we are entering the new spiritual age of the PachaKuti, "the return of the light" after 500 years of darkness, which coincides with our calendar year 2012. To celebrate and prepare for this anticipated time of new consciousness, Delgado leads us in centuries old Incan rituals and ceremonies.
The highlight of the day is a colorful and spiritual despacho, or offering to the Mother Earth. We are also invited to fulfill an Incan legend to become "children of the sun" in the coming times. There is plenty of time for questions and discussion as we learn Incan traditions to revitalize our spirit, our life, and the Earth itself.
Jorge Luis Delgado, an indigenous Peruvian of Aymara heritage, from the Lake Titicaca region of Peru and Bolivia, is a recognized teacher of Inca philosophy and a learned spiritual guide. Author of Andean Awakening, he has been invited to USA, Belgium, the Netherlands and Turkey to impart his undersanding of Incan wisdom. He is stopping in Ottawa on his way to a five day workshop at the Omega Institute, NY. www.andeanawakening.com
